"Think small to dream big", said Richard Feynman, and that is how the Pragyan team set about with its inception in 2005. But as years go by, the momentum and enthusiasm to celebrate the essence and spirit of technology garners new heights and henceforth, we look forward to a bigger and bolder Pragyan '07 – Where no Pragyan has gone before.Think of it as another wild excursion into the abstract maze of analytical thinking, logical reasoning, mechanical splendour and creative euphoria as we try to fill the ocean of technology in a bucket of an event. Impossible? Come down and find out yourself!
Pragyan '06 saw Pragyan don the mantle of an International technical event with participants across the globe fighting it out for glory, hence providing our national level tech whizzes a whole new playground to work their wonders on. An action packed four days of Pragyan'06 gave new meaning to the term "on your toes", as participants took part in a plethora of events. Whether it was building boats from junk and racing them, or making cash on the stock market or debating out world issues, there were numerous creative and exciting contests that tested their common sense, practicality and ingenuity. It didn't end at competitions alone, workshops on robotics by Dr. Jacky Baltes, Ankit Fadia's hacking workshop, along with insightful lectures by Dr. Yashpal Sharma, Christopher Charles Benninger, Dr. Stephen Wolfram, along with hands on workshops with numerous softwares etc, helped speed up numerous learning curves. Who said technology is boring ? It can be loads of fun too with laser shows, pyrotechnics, hypnotism shows and loads more that have enthralled audiences in previous editions of Pragyan. So, feel that spark of genius in you? Come over and let Pragyan'07 ignite it!!!So where will you be this February?
