Quizfest is the biggest quizzing extravaganza in India. Sponsored by the best of companies , it attracts hundreds from all over the country . Right from school going children to Corporate contenders, everyone pours in to participate in this mega-event- the QuizFest. Entertainment It is a 2 day event to be held on 23rd and 24th February, 2008 with 2 quizzes on each day . Informals are conducted throughout the night .Also in between the quizzes we have fillers which include Sudokus,Crosswords,Puzzles etc. Along with these there are short quizzes on topics of interest like Harry Potter ,Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy,Tintin,Asterix etc. The main quizzes consist of a written elimination round followed by the finals wherein the top 6 teams fight it out for the top spot. About 1000 people participate in each of these quizzes. Quizfest boasts of an attractive prize money worth Rs. 1,50,000.
