IRoCha is a contest that tests visual intelligence and mechanical strength. The contest aims at the development of mobile robots that can effectively work in a wide variety of situations and environments. The challenge is to build robots that can perform tasks in realistic environments exploiting the recent developments in the areas of computer vision and mobile robotics.
IRoCha coincides with IJCAI main conference and is being conducted on 8 January 2007, a day before the main conference.
This competition is open to all motivated and interested individuals in the area of mobile robotics and computer vision. All IJCAI attendees are particularly welcome to participate and witness the contest. Registration to the tutorials/workshops/IJCAI conference at greatly reduced rates are likely to be on offer for IRoCha contestants. Winners get fabulous prizes.
