ALCHEMY 2008 (7-9 March)
Alchemy is the technical festival organized by the Department of Chemical Engineering of the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. As the name suggests, we at alchemy celebrate that spirit of investigation which has seen mankind progress from being a slave of his own land to being a master of the art of innovation. We aim at creating a festival where budding engineers from all over the country meet to do what they do best ? applying their minds to a slew of creative pursuits. Spread over two days in March 2008, Alchemy would be an opportunity for students from all over the country to come together and compete at various events, a place where they can exchange ideas, collaborate and learn through lectures and workshops. We start the Alchemy tradition with a ever-so-important theme of "Alternate Energy", which would define the face of our earth in the coming years. So, join us at Alchemy, and help CHEMPOWER the future!
